The cottage is located in an old stoned barn built in 1789 and renovated in 2018.  It’s a 70 square meters fully equipped and self-catering cottage. It sleeps 4 people with two bedrooms.   

Adjoining our house, the cottage offers a large garden and is located 600 meters far from the village and five minutes far by walk from the forest. You could relax in the peaceful environment and go to drink a coffee in the village.

The cottage consists of a ground floor opening onto a fully equipped kitchen dining and sitting room and a first floor with a shower room and two bedrooms.

One bedroom is a 25m² room with a queen size bed (160*200). The second bedroom is an open 17m² bedroom with two nestled bunk beds (90cm * 190cm size).

The kitchen is well equipped with fridge, freezer space, induction hobs, electric oven, dish washer, washing machine, nespresso machine, kettle, etc…

The cottage is WIFI connected. There are numerous books, travel guides and maps for guests to take advantage of if desired.

We can provide you baby equipment on demand (cot, high chair, etc.).

You will have exclusive use of the garden, the terrace and the nordic bath in front of the cottage. The nordic bath offers warm water heated by a wood stove in the cold seasons and a refreshing sitting place in summer.  On the terrace, you will find a table, chairs, and deckchairs. 

Please note that we live discreetly in the house next to the cottage and will need to pass on a side of the property from time to time.

The cottage is perfectly placed in the village to enjoy its amenities (public swimming pool, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, small shops, post, etc…) and the forest around. Around the house, you could enjoy many pretty walks or ride a bike or a horse to explore the forest along the stones walls.  

The village, in the “black triangle” is a known place to watch the starry sky in the night ; it’s wonderful.

Geographically – we are extremely well placed for day excursions being located at the three-way intersection which offers you easy access to wonderful medieval hilltop stoned villages, nestled rivers in the middle of cliffs, caves with rock paintings, etc. Each journey can be full of the hidden spots and the most beautiful scenery of the Lot beauty. We give more details here about surrounding activities and remain available to give you all information you need.

Subject to availability, we can offer you seasonal vegetables grown in our vegetable plot throughout the summer season and make you discover a few things about permaculture. We can offer you organized journeys in the region and guide you in beautiful spots.
